Rain, rain go away

Holy Rain! Seoul has been hit with major flooding, shut down highways and power outages the past few days. In 243 hours we got 15.5 inches of rain! There has been lots of thunger and lightening and the rain overnight was so loud it woke me up many times. Crazy!
Luckily, we live in a newer part of Seoul (well, more like what Americans would call a suburb) with excellent drainage, and the flooding hasn't directly affected us or our home. We only lost power for a short time. Public transportation is also still running in our area, so I was able to get to work today. (Oh wait, that's a bad thing! :) )
So far reports are saying that 33 people have been killed due to flooding or landslides due to the flooding. Subways are shut down and the pictures are incredible. I've never seen flooding like this before.
Josh has been away for work for a week and I'm just praying that he can get home soon so we can leave for our trip to the states. Also praying for an easy way to get to the airport, as highways there are flooded and many busses are not running. We might be taking the subway with all our luggage! Haha! So now bags are packed and I'm ready to go, just need the hubby!
